We are the Italian engineering and contracting expert with the capability, skills and proven experience to deliver <\/strong>transport electrification projects<\/strong> nationally and internationally.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to our long and successful history in the rail industry for almost a century, we are well positioned to understand and meet the needs of a wide variety of rail customers <\/strong>across the entire project life cycle: design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of turnkey projects for traditional and High Speed railways, mass transit and Light Rail systems.<\/p>\n

Since September 2024, the company has been part of the GCF Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0group, an Italian excellence in the field of railway track construction, electrification and signalling with a significant European and international presence.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Our company was founded in 1926, when SAE (Societ\u00e0 Anonima Elettrificazione)<\/strong>, began electrification work on the Bolzano – Brennero double-track railway line.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over nearly a century, acquisitions, mergers and incorporations into major industrial groups in the energy (ABB and Alpiq) and infrastructure and transport (Balfour Beatty and Colas Rail) sectors have marked the cornerstones of a long journey. Up to a new milestone in 2024 when we joined the GCF Group<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The core business and specialist know-how in the electric traction systems market handed down over the years are the hallmark of the company’s identity, which over the years has been continuously enriched and innovated.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
