As a member of the Saturno Consortium, GCFE was awarded the contract for the construction of the technological systems of the Verona – Bivio Vicenza high-speed section, the first functional lot of the HS/HC Verona – Padua line.

The new route, an integral part of the Mediterranean TEN-Corridor, will be 44.2 km long and will cross 13 municipalities, quadrupling the existing line and increasing the quality of the railway offer and its integration with the European network.

As part of the Saturno Consortium, GCFE is the leader in the design, supply and construction of the 3 kV DC Contact Line, 132 kV High Voltage Power Line and Remote Control System on the entire line.

Additionally the company’s scope of work also encompasses design and construction of Substations and Low Voltage Power Supply.
