A history all made in Italy
Our company was founded in 1926, when SAE (Società Anonima Elettrificazione), began electrification work on the Bolzano – Brennero double-track railway line.
Over nearly a century, acquisitions, mergers and incorporations into major industrial groups in the energy (ABB and Alpiq) and infrastructure and transport (Balfour Beatty and Colas Rail) sectors have marked the cornerstones of a long journey. Up to a new milestone in 2024 when we joined the GCF Group.
